    The PellPal D boiler with a power of 20 kW is a device used to heat rooms with an area of 100 to 160 m2 and to heat water in domestic hot water systems. It is designed for burning logs of deciduous wood such as beech, oak, birch, hornbeam, etc.
    The 20 kW PellPal D boiler has a high efficiency of up to 91.4%. In tests, it obtained class 5 according to EN 303-5 and meets the requirements of ecodesign (EcoDesign). The energy class of the boiler is A+. The boiler achieved very low PM emissions below 20 mg/m3.
    The boiler can operate in an open system equipped with an open expansion vessel as well as in a closed system when the heating system is equipped with the necessary elements such as an external cooling coil, DBV 2 safety valve, SYR 5067 thermal protection valve, expansion vessel. Depending on the selected method of protection, appropriate elements should be used. The system in which the boiler is to operate must be equipped with an accumulation tank with a minimum capacity of 672 liters.

    Firewood is a natural and ecological source of energy. Used for years for heating purposes, it should undergo a series of preparatory treatments. Wood intended for combustion should be cut and chopped into logs suitable for the boiler furnace. The most important is the so-called seasoning of wood, i.e. its proper drying. Only properly dried deciduous wood gives us the confidence that our boiler will not smoke and will be environmentally friendly.

    Most importantly, wood is characterized by a zero CO2 emission balance, which is not always obvious in the case of other forms of house heating.
