Clean Air 2023 Program

In 2023, more and more people pay attention to effective and environmentally friendly heat sources. In this article, we will take a look at the Clean Air Program for 2023 and discuss what changes and funding opportunities await those who want to make their heating more ecological and effective.

What do you need to know about financing for the purchase of a furnace in 2023?

Society's ecological awareness and the need to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere are becoming more and more pressing issues. As a result, Poles are increasingly paying attention to more effective heating solutions. Financing for the purchase of new furnaces is becoming available with increasing frequency, and one of the main programs supporting this initiative is the Clean Air Program. Below we present key information regarding funding for new furnaces in 2023 and discuss the most important changes in the program.

Clean Air Program in 2023

The Clean Air Program is an initiative aimed at improving air quality and reducing smog by replacing outdated and inefficient heat sources with modern, energy-saving furnaces, such as class 5 boilers. In 2023, this program will still be in force, but more favorable support conditions will be introduced. Here are the most important changes:

  1. Increased income thresholds: The income thresholds per person in a multi-person household are now PLN 1,894 (the highest level of support is PLN 1,090), and in single-person households - PLN 2,651 (the highest level of support is PLN 1,526).
  2. Higher subsidy amount: The subsidy amount has been increased.
  3. Submitting applications via gov.pl: Applications for funding should now be submitted only via the gov.pl website.
  4. Financing earlier than 6 months before the start of the investment: It is possible to obtain financing even up to 6 months before the start of the investment.
  5. Subsidies for wood biomass stoves with low particulate emissions: It is possible to obtain subsidies for the purchase of wood biomass stoves that emit particulate matter at a level of ≤ 20 mg/m3 (applies to buildings connected to the gas distribution network).
  6. Possibility to submit two applications: Interested persons may submit as many as two applications for funding.

Which furnaces are eligible for funding under the Clean Air Program?

Under the Clean Air Program, you can apply for funding for the purchase and installation of modern furnaces that meet specific requirements. First of all, funding is available to people planning to purchase class 5 boilers and other modern heat sources, such as pellet boilers. Thanks to these changes, investing in more ecological heating solutions becomes more accessible and attractive to everyone who wants to contribute to improving air quality and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
